DISC GOLF COURSE AT GARRY CAVAN PARK IN GEORGETOWN NOW OPEN!

The New Albany -Floyd County Disc Golf Course opened recently at the Garry E. Cavan Park (formerly the Edwardsville Park)in Georgetown, Indiana. Those attending the ribbon cutting ceremony included the Lang Family, park board members and recreation department staff.

Disc Golf has been around for many years. It is a safe, fun heathful activity for all. The object of the game is to throw a flying disc into the basket target in the fewest throws.

After your tee shot from a rubber mat, walk to your disc and throw again until you complete the hole. The player whose disc is farthest from the basket shoots first.
